The festival opens with a unique experience, where music and technology intersect. Directed by the visionary Kristjan Järvi, this performance devoted to nature uses simultaneous video projections to fully immerse audiences. The musicians, as gifted as they are versatile, will transport you with the sounds of Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky and Max Richter – the perfect fusion for a multisensory celebration.

Through the combined talents of Georges and Louis Schwizgebel, a unique father-son duo, film animation and classical music are brought together in perfect harmony. The pair will take you on a poetic voyage inspired by the timeless legends of La Damnation de Faust, Cinderella and Erlkönig. The virtuosity of young piano prodigy Louis coupled with the award-winning work of Georges, an artist, painter, graphic designer and renowned director, blossoms into an ode to art in all its forms.
To kick off this concert, we're please to welcome two special guests: the remarkably talented young cellist from Lausanne Benjamin Jacobs and the principal dancer Jia Yong Sun.

The beauty and mystery of the swan, a symbolic figure in Nordic culture, are celebrated through spellbinding musical highlights from Sibelius, Grieg, and even Freddie Mercury.
